Updated: May 16, 2022

Legasea was today congratulated on making the finals of OGUK’s prestigious annual awards. Legasea has been shortlisted in the category of Business Innovation (SME).

The annual awards ceremony celebrates the brightest and best talent from across the country’s offshore oil and gas industry and finalists represent the hard work, innovation, and collaboration the industry has adopted throughout 2020.

The judging panel, consisting of industry leaders Joe Leask (OGUK), Steve Rae (Step Change in Safety) and Mark Lammey (Energy Voice), nominated thirty individuals and businesses across eight award categories, out of over 90 applications. The winners will be crowned at OGUK’s first ever virtual awards event on Thursday December 10.

Ray Milne, Legasea Operations Director said:

“We are very proud that innovative services have been recognised by our industry peers, and we would like to say a big thank you to OGUK and the judging panel for shortlisting Legasea. Being nominated for such a prestigious award means a lot of us and it validates the immense efforts of our team, on our business journey so far”.

This is the North Sea grit we are known for and it enables us to keep providing energy to the UK during these difficult times.

“The finalists represent the excellence the industry has to offer – and OGUK congratulates them on their super achievements. Congratulations to Legasea.”
