Legasea is a leading UK-based circular economy company that focuses on sustainable practices and innovative solutions to reduce waste and enhance the environment. We are currently seeking a Business Administration Modern Apprentice to join our team and contribute to our mission.

As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience in various areas of business administration, including administration, project management, sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain management. You will work closely with different departments within our organisation, supporting their operations and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Administration:

 

  • Provide general administrative support, including managing correspondence, organising meetings, and maintaining records and documentation.

  • Assist in data entry and maintenance of databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Help with the preparation and distribution of reports, presentations, and other relevant documents.

  • Support the implementation and improvement of administrative processes and procedures.

 

Project Management:

 

  • Assist project team in coordinating and monitoring projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and objectives are met.

  • Collaborate with project teams to gather and analyse data, identify risks, and support decision-making.

  • Help maintain project documentation, including project plans, budgets, and progress reports.

  • Contribute to project evaluation and continuous improvement efforts.

 

Sales and Marketing:

 

  • Support the sales team in managing customer inquiries, preparing quotes, and processing orders.

  • Assist in market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.

  • Contribute to the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including social media and content creation.

  • Help maintain customer databases and assist in customer relationship management.

 

Finance:

 

  • Support financial operations, such as accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and expense management.

  • Assist with financial reporting and analysis, including budget monitoring and variance analysis.

  • Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, forecasts, and other financial documentation.

  • Assist with audits and compliance activities.

 

Supply Chain Management:

 

  • Help with supply chain coordination, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.

  • Assist in monitoring supplier performance, ensuring timely deliveries and quality standards are met.

  • Contribute to the implementation of sustainable supply chain practices and initiatives.

  • Support the identification and evaluation of potential suppliers and vendors.

Experience:

  • No formal experience required as all training will be provided

Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum of Nat 5 (or equivalent) in Maths and English, with grades A-C.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.

  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
