MAIN PURPOSE & SCOPE OF THE JOB
Legasea is a leading UK-based circular economy company that focuses on sustainable practices and innovative solutions to reduce waste and enhance the environment. We are currently seeking a Facilities and Materials Co-Ordinator to join our team and contribute to our mission.
The Facilities and Materials Co-Ordinator is responsible for the overall management of the company's facilities and materials. This includes stock checks, goods-in, goods-out, facility maintenance, general repairs, and logistics.
DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Facilities and Materials Co-Ordinator is responsible for the overall management of the company's facilities and materials. This includes stock checks, goods-in, goods-out, facility maintenance, general repairs, and logistics. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the oil and gas industry and be familiar with the specific requirements of this sector.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage the inventory of all materials and supplies, including receiving, storing, and issuing.
· Working with the purchasing department to identify materials to be procured.
· Conduct regular stock checks to ensure that inventory levels are adequate and that materials are properly stored.
· Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facilities, including buildings, equipment, and grounds.
· Inspect facilities regularly to identify and address any potential problems.
· Coordinate with contractors to carry out repairs.
· Manage the logistics of all materials and supplies.
· Ensure that all materials and supplies are used efficiently and effectively.
· Comply with all applicable safety and environmental regulations.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
· Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
· A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
· The ideal candidate will have experience working in the oil and gas industry and be familiar with the specific requirements of this sector.
· 5+ years of experience in warehousing, logistics or facilities management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
· Strong understanding of inventory management, maintenance, and repairs.
· Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
· Inventory management.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week, but could be tailored to the right candidate if part-time is preferred.
