Legasea are thrilled to announce they are now a member of the Aberdeen and Grampian chamber of commerce. Legasea launched in 2019 to address the throw-away culture of the oil and gas industry. T
The company recognises that within this sector there is a vast amount of quality goods that are being wasted or scrapped following cessation of production. Little to no consideration is given to reuse.
In light of this, Legasea will provide an alternative solution to disposing of equipment. They will take unwanted equipment which is due to be scrapped and disassemble it to its core components. These will then be re-purposed, and any excess parts will be used to meet the demand for urgent spares.
Through the use of ground-breaking technology and keeping to the company’s core value of promoting the circular economy, each project will be built on new and used parts, capitalising on cost savings, low lead times and always tailored to a client’s needs.
This new initiative
e looks to offer an alternative to disposal, whilst allowing clients to reap financial benefits and also enabling oil and gas companies to be more environmentally friendly.
